From April 12-13, 2013, the international workshop on Capitalism, Inequality, and Democracy, a collaboration between the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung–New York Office and the University of British Columbia, will take place in Vancouver, Canada. The workshop seeks to examine the global rise of social inequality as well as its implications for democratic governance and social movements. RLS–NYC Co-director Albert Scharenberg will give opening remarks.
The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required.
