Meet the Panelists:
· Jasmine Owens, a nuclear weapons abolitionist, writer, educator, organizer, and trained Death Doula. Rooting her advocacy and expertise in the Black Radical Tradition and Indigenous teachings, Jasmine seeks to transform the anti-nuclear movement to be more authentically just, intersectional, equitable, imaginative, and sustainable.
· John Feffer, director of Foreign Policy In Focus and Global Just Transition at the Institute for Policy Studies and a contributor to the Atlas of Disarmament. He is the author of several books and numerous articles on topics including U.S. foreign policy, the Korean peninsula, and the politics of food.
· Stefan Liebich, director of the New York Office of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and contributor to the Atlas. He served as a member of the German Bundestag for 12 years, specializing in foreign policy.
The event will also include introductory remarks by the President of Ploughshares Fund, Dr. Emma Belcher.
