Alongside Indigenous Peoples, we must continue to call the treatment of Indigenous Peoples in Canada genocide. It is critical to continue to pressure Canada on the world stage to uphold the rights of Indigenous Peoples for future generations. Maybe if Canada had implemented the recommendations from the processes that Indigenous Peoples have engaged in to seek justice we would not be in the place we are now.
