Trade Unions for Energy Democracy is a global, multi-sector network of labor leaders dedicated to advancing democratic direction and control of energy in a way that promotes solutions to the climate crisis, energy poverty, and the degradation of both land and people and that responds to attacks on workers’ rights and protections.
One of the goals of this initiative is to advance a better understanding of what “energy democracy” can mean to the labor movement. To this end, the initiative has published already four working papers and recently an animated video. The video is available in English, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic.
