How do we deal with the damage and losses that are already causing climate change now and in the future? This issue is central to international climate policy, since climate change will depend on this.

Loss and damage touches a central question in climate policy: What are the consequences for a just climate policy considering that the people who contribute the least to global warming are also those who suffer most from it? Climate justice will not be reached without considering the topic of „loss & damage“.
