We present the first one of a series of infographics that we will roll out throughout the year. This series will focus on key concepts that explain and influence the work of the United Nations around the Financing for Development process.
In this infographic, we look at Our Common Agenda (OCA), the UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s landmark report where he lays out a set of recommendations that present a “vision on the future of global cooperation through an inclusive, networked, and effective multilateralism.” We argue that OCA has fallen prey to corporate actors and fails to deliver an inclusive agenda that centers people and the planet, questioning for whom is this alleged new multilateralism.
